Local Heritage and Genealogy Workshop with Heritage through Schools Project

Senior Room children enjoyed a great day with Martin Curley through the Heritage in Schools Project. Martin spent the day helping the children learn how to research their family tree and they learned lots about our local history and heritage.  We went on a walk to see if we could spot if anything remained of the original Cloonloo School building and church which we discovered on old maps of the area were in a field opposite our current school building. Thanks to Martin for a really enjoyable interactive workshop.
