Leprechaun Traps

Senior Room children received a cheeky letter from Lucky the Leprechaun telling them he was going to visit their classroom on the eve of St. Patrick's Day. They then received a request from the LLA (Leprechaun Lookout Agency) asking for their help in catching Lucky.  The children set about making Leprechaun Traps - including all of Lucky's favourite items - rainbows, gold and the colour green.  There were instructions as to Lucky's height and width so children had to make their traps big enough to fit him but not too big that he could easily avoid capture.

We arrived back into school on 18th March with much excitement however Lucky was nowhere to be seen.  He had left us little notes complimenting our traps and wishing us better luck next year.  Ah well, it was nice to dream of what we'd do with the gold :)
