Jumble Sale for Pieta House - Amber Flag (Wellbeing)

As part of the Amber Flag project, the children had to organise a fundraiser for Pieta House. Ms. Conlon and the Amber Flag Committee decided on holding a Jumble Sale in school on Friday, 2nd May We invited children to bring in baked goods, toys and books (in good condition) to sell to other students at the Jumble Sale. Sixth Class pupils set up the stalls and managed the sale of all items. The children enjoyed perusing the items for sale and it was a wonderful opportunity for all children to learn about money in a live, practical sense. A total of €167.05 was raised for Pieta House. A huge thank you for all the help and support!
