Congratulations to the Cloonloo N.S. GAA Football Team who won the 2 Teacher Mixed Cumann Na mBunscol Final in the Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence on Saturday 7th June. Despite the weather, there was an incredible turn out from staff, people from the Cloonloo Community, extended families members and friends, parents and pupils from the school who really got into the spirit of the occasion by wearing blue and white, waving flags, banners, signs and pompoms and cheering on the team to its victory. The team showed amazing collaboration, respect, supportiveness and leadership on the day, all of which contributed to their well-earned success. Commiserations to our opponents Castlegal N.S. who made it a nerve wracking watch for all the supports and who challenged us all the way to the end. We are sure to meet again! However, for this year, the celebrations and success belong to the Cloonloo team. We are so proud of them all. COME ON CLOONLOO!
