Creative Clusters Celebration Day
The children took part in a Creative Clusters Celebration Day in Sooey N.S. on Thursday, 22nd May. The 3 schools in our cluster Culfadda, Cloonloo and Sooey got together for a series of fun activities to celebrate our schools working together on the Creative Clusters Art Project. These activities included visiting a local playground, playing playground games, yoga/dance, sport activities, art activities, making smoothies etc. The day concluded with a visit from the Ice Cream Van.
Children already experienced a Weaving Workshop with Geraldine O’Sullivan through the Heritage in Schools Project funded by The Heritage Council and a Drama Games workshop with Catherine Sheridan. Staff also undertook this drama games workshop. Children also wrote letters to each other to introduce themselves before they all meet.
