Catholic Schools Week & Grandparents/Special Persons Day

Catholic Schools Week ran this year from 18th to 24th January.  We marked each day in school with reflection, prayer, bible stories and activities.

A lovely part of this week was Grandparents/Special Person Day which was on Wednesday, 21st January.  We invited each child to bring in their grandparents or a special person to the school. We sang songs, recited poems and played some tunes on the tin whistle for our Grandparents/Special People and then had some tea/drinks and treats.

We had a memory tree for those grandparents/special people who could not be with us on the day.  

It was a lovely occasion.
