Active School Week
Active School Week got off to a great start on Monday with our Dance Instructor Belinda showing us various forms of movement in the sunshine :) On Tuesday, we had a tennis lesson with Cathal and our first Teacher V Pupil Challenge which was skipping. The pupils were victorious in the first challenge. On Wednesday, we had football training with Cara and our second Teacher V Pupil Challenge which was a water relay race. The teachers were victorious in the second challenge. On Thursday, we had rugby with Jim and our third and final Teacher V Pupil Challenge which was accuracy throwing. The teachers were victorious in the third challenge so the teachers were the overall Teacher V Pupil Challenge Winners. The Skip Around Europe Challenge also finished on Friday. The Junior Room skipped to all 27 countries with a total of 62 491 skips. It was a very enjoyable week for all with the beautiful weather being the cherry on top of the cake!
